Since my spiritual awakening that started four years ago, I never thought I would be writing about this topic. But I feel the urge and responsibility to do so today due to its importance and the criticality of the time for humanity transitioning into higher consciousness.
Unfortunately, certain spiritual teachers/coaches who started their spiritual journey with the best intentions, somehow had their spiritual ego kick in again later but stronger. Some people call it corruption in the spiritual field, but I call it distortion at best. It is where the fragmented soul did not integrate as it should be because not enough healing has been done to bring back together the fragments as anticipated. These teachers are misguided by their ego which contributed to them misleading their followers to the point of manipulation and abuse. Hence, the distortion which totally contradicts any spiritual mission, occurs. Some went even further on to charge large sums of money in return for their services labeling it as an “energy exchange” only to deny the guilt for doing so. Some healing services are critical on the spiritual journey so there must be a profound trust first in the person you allow to access your energy. Beware of whom you follow and use their services!!
When I started my journey, I did not know any spiritual person on a personal level, so I researched a lot about what I was experiencing, and I learned a lot. I followed many gurus, read their works, followed their online speeches, practiced with them certain techniques of meditation, and even shared with a few of them, some of my intimate spiritual experiences.
However, I was aware that certain teachers did not really resonate with my soul, so I did not take their teachings to heart. That is how I became selective and careful about the information I found online. Even after meeting one teacher in person and following his teachings, I reached a point where I was not aligned with all of his techniques. Moreover, I criticized some of the teachings that I did not agree with because they did not resonate with my soul and truth. Sooner or later, I knew I will be my own teacher. Soon enough I started to follow my heart and higher self only and trust my intuition to know the truth. But I worked deterministically on healing myself to reach this point. Many in the field are far from being divinely guided. Some fell back to the patriarchal structure that they could not overcome. Later on, I understood their obstacles and stagnation that led them to no further development or progress on their spiritual journey.
My message for you today is to be aware of this distortion or “corruption”. I believe spiritual guidance should not be a business, a paid service, and a source of income. This is only my opinion and my perspective on the absolute divinity in such endeavors.
Divinity is given and priceless!!!
