Trust: The Web of Consciousness

By Susan Sabra

“In God we trust”, “Trust in the Universe” …..

Trust is defined as the firm belief in the reliability, the truth, or the ability of someone or something. In a deep contemplation about trust, meaning and impact on life, I realized that everything in life is built primarily on trust. Every relationship, every connection including the one with self, is essentially a construct of trust. When I trust myself, I empower my connection with myself.

Trust is a more critical word than love.  Trust and love resemble the chicken and egg paradox. Which one comes first?

Scholars and philosophers from different cultures and religions debated the concept of trust, the trust in God and its manifestations. No agreement exists on the interpretation of this expression.

The plant trusts that the sun will rise so it can grow. The sun trusts in its constituency to keep burning. I trust there is and will always be air to breathe to continue being alive.

Trust is to surrender, to build this positive rapport with the Universe and its content. Surrender is to submit to the will of God or the Universe but not to fade into it. It does not eliminate logic and action on a personal level. For example, I trust that I will receive the job I deserve. I surrender to the Universe to send me that opportunity. However, this does not mean that I just sit home and do nothing while waiting for it to knock on my door. I weave the fabric of trust with the Universe by taking the right actions with the best intentions. That is how I fill my web of consciousness with the right frequency to connect with the right opportunity out there. Once I establish that connection at the right frequency, the matching opportunity will arrive.

When we initiate a degree of trust, we establish a relevant vibration around us. In relationships of any kind, once trust is not reciprocated then the imbalance is at play. This imbalance attracts triggers to either highlight the discrepancy in the connection, so it is corrected to elevate the connection and save it, or to create more chaos if not handled properly so the connection gets disrupted and broken.

If we approach everything with trust, then we are initiating the strong fiber of the connection at a high frequency, otherwise we jeopardize it by weakening its energetic link and/or its life span as a consequence.

I trust, then I love.

I love, then I AM.
